Our Founder
President and CEO, Joseph Oakes started Cannbridge University in May 2009 and has been working everyday since to make that dream a reality. Joe became involved in the Medical Marijuana community after his father was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2007 and he has been commited to helping the community ever since. He has spent countless hours learning, researching and experimenting with the latest developements in horticulture to grow the highest quality medicine available to Oregon patients.

I have been active in the medicinal cannabis community over the last 2 years, participating in web based, social networking groups, and some political activism. I have been educating myself on the subject of cannabis for many years, doing research online, reading books, and visiting medicinal cannabis gardens, as well as discussing growing methods, and methods of ingestion, and concentration. I wish to help others, to become more knowledgeable about cannabis cultivation, and medicinal usage of this healing plant."
